Every fall the Northeast Georgia Council participates in the Trail’s End Popcorn Sale. This sale is a great way for units to fund their Scouting year. The money earned from the sale of popcorn helps meet the needs of the unit and helps provide a quality program for all Scouts. The sale is also important to our Council. The funds earned by the Northeast Georgia Council from the sale of popcorn are used mainly to improve our properties. Since 2006, more than $3,600,000 of the proceeds from the sale of popcorn have been used to make improvements to our council camps. Our Council is the only one in the nation to use proceeds from the popcorn sale in this manner.
