Etowah Adult Training
Training sign-ups have moved! Please check the Training calendar on the NEGA website.
Proper training gives you the tools you need to present the best program available to youth. Training also ensures that the Scouts you lead are kept safe while learning the values of Scouting. In addition to training specific to your position, Youth Protection Training is required for all leaders.
No matter your level of experience, BSA training will teach you what you need to know to run a successful program. We take the approach that in order to effectively teach a Scout a skill, you ought to have done it yourself. Our training programs are designed to teach you to be a teacher - you'll gain first-hand experience in Scout skills, cooking, planning, safety, and more.
There are MANY opportunities for training within the Etowah District and the Northeast Georgia Council. If you don't see what you're looking for on our Training calendar, check out my.scouting.org for online classes! We also offer in-person training as demand permits, so please contact the Etowah training team if you have any questions.
