Merit Badge Explosion is a great opportunity for Scouts to earn more merit badges before the summer ends!

Come and spend the day & enjoy the fun, fellowship & beautiful weather while working on some additional merit badges.

Schedule of Events

Check-in:        8:45 AM to 9:10 AM

Opening:        9:15 AM

Classes:    9:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Lunch:             12:00 PM to 12:45 PM

Classes:    1:00 PM to 3:50 PM

Closing:           4:00 PM

 

Merit Badges Offered

  • Archery(Pre-req 1c, 2c, 3a, 4b)
  • Citizenship in the Communtiy (Prerequisite: attend meeting)
  • Citizenship in the World 
  • Crime Prevention/Fingerprinting
  • First Aid (prerequisite: Make & Bring First Aid Kit)
  • Personal Management (Pre-req 1(b)2, 1(c)2, 2, and 8)
  • Rifle Shooting(Pre-req 1c, 1d, 2, 3)
  • Sustainability
  • Welding 

 

Scouts, there is now a lunch option available to add to this Merit Badge Workshop. Scouts should bring their own water bottle and snacks for this day at Scoutland on Lake Lanier in Gainesville, but now there is a lunch option for $12! There will be vegetarian options along with a drink and sweet snack. More details to come.

 

Don't forget that this is a Scouting for Pets event! Bring food, supplies, and pet needs for our community.
