The only requirements to participant are:

  • Be in their class A uniform
  • Have approval from their Scoutmaster to attend the merit badge (acknowledged with the scoutmaster’s signature on a merit badge blue card)
  • Review the merit badge requirements https://www.scouting.org/programs/scouts-bsa/advancement-and-awards/merit-badges/

  • EVERY attendee will need to have Medical forms to attend.  Please follow this link for more information and to access the needed forms.

Note: the merit badge may not be completed within the class. This is due to individual activities required to be performed on their own, at home, or with their unit. The Scoutmaster is aware of the tasks to be completed and it is expected that the scout youth works directly with those in their unit to complete an outstanding merit badge requirements.
