Outdoor Ethics

Outdoor ethics is deeply ingrained in the BSA program. The Cub Scout, Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Sea Scout programs all include outdoor stewardship, care for the environment, and Leave No Trace as part of their programs.

If you are prepared to to become aware of your surroundings, to build the skills that will allow you to leave no trace on the land, then the Outdoor Ethics Awareness and Action Awards are for you. The Outdoor Ethics Action Awards can be earned by both youth and adult.

A requirement for the Boy Scout, Venturer, and Adult Outdoor Ethics Awards is to Complete the BSA Outdoor Ethics Orientation Course.

The Northeast Georgia Council Outdoor Ethics Awareness Workshops are offered at no cost. To ensure that sufficient course materials are on hand, please register online for the session of your choice. Please include the number of Scouts and Adults.
