High Adventure

Nestled deep in the Northeast Georgia mountains, among miles of hiking trails, whitewater rivers abundant, we have several High Adventure programs available. We offer the perfect opportunity for you to experience the ultimate in excitement. In the summer we offer week-long programs, weekend programs are available for the remainder of the year. All of the High Adventure programs are open to all individuals who are at least 14 years of age or 13 years old and completed 8th grade when they plan to participate in the programs.

 

 

Climbing

The Climbing Program offers climbing and rappelling for beginners and experienced climbers on tower and live rock.

Project C.O.P.E

The Project C.O.P.E. (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience) program is offered at Camp Rainey Mountain.

Shooting Sports

Rifle Shooting
The Shooting Sports Program offers Ventures, Explorers and older Boy Scouts the opportunity to shoot rifles, shotguns, and archery.

Whitewater Kayaking

If you have Scouts and Venturers who enjoy Whitewater Rafting and want to move up to something more challenging, whitewater kayaking is the program for them!

Ranger Camp

Ranger Camp is a week long alpine skills course designed to challenge today's adventure bound Scouts and Venturers.

Expeditions

The Northeast Georgia Council annually sends a contingent to Philmont Scout Ranch.
