When it was decided that 2023 was going to be the final year for “Jamboree on the Trail” a group of long-time JOTT fans decided they wanted to continue the tradition. TRAILJAM was born. The premise will be basically the same, just with a new name.
Scouts and scouters all around the world are being encouraged to spend some time in the outdoors or go for a hike on the second Saturday in May. This year that will be Saturday, May 10th. The Etowah District will continue its long tradition of incorporating a service project into this worthwhile event. This year we will be doing a “trail maintenance” service project at Sawnee Mountain Preserve.
